Certification shows that a landlord is educated, accountable, and invested in maintaining quality rental housing
The Landlord Association, LLC Certification Program recognizes rental property owners who demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and knowledge of Texas landlord-tenant law.
Certification identifies members as trusted housing providers who meet consistent standards for fair housing, safety, and ethical property management. This program is managed by the Landlord Association, LLC., and is open to all active members in good standing.
To apply for certification, landlords must:
Submit a completed Certification Application Form including:
Complete the following Core Workshops or Online Courses offered or approved by the association:
Each course may be offered quarterly in person, via Zoom, or as a self-paced online module.
Applicants complete a short Property Standards Checklist confirming:

The Certification Review Committee evaluates applications within 30 days.
Once approved, landlords receive:

Must be an active member of the Landlord Association.
Must agree to the Association’s Code of Ethics and Fair Housing Compliance Pledge.
Landlords complete 3–5 core workshops or online courses, such as:
